Executive Summary and Test Plan Operational Capabilities Demonstration and Test for Humanitarian Demining and other Military Operations other than War. Volume 1.

Abstract

As part of an international humanitarian demining effort, Congress provided the Army $1OM of FY95 RDT&E funds with direction to develop and demonstrate technologies applicable to humanitarian demining and other Military Operations Other Than War (OOTW) situations. Congress further directed that the technologies developed under this one-year only program be shared in an international environment. In compliance with this direction, the CECOM Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) developed demonstrated and validated over 30 prototype items for humanitarian demining in 1995.
