Probability Density Function of the Intensity of a Laser Beam Reflected from a Location Target and Propagating Through Turbulent Atmosphere,

Abstract

From an analysis of the effect of a rough-surfaced target and the effect of atmospheric turbulence on a propagating laser beam, and the double-stochastic field model, we propose an intensity probability density function and the photoelectronic count statistical relationship of a laser beam reflected from a location target and propagating through a weak fluctuating turbulent atmosphere.
