Archaeological Investigations for the Cross Creek Flood Control Project, Rossville, Kansas. Volume 2, Appendices.

Abstract

This report contains the results of Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 archaeological investigation for a portion of the Cross Creek Flood Control Project Rossville, Kansas. The Phase 2 survey located one small archaeological site (14SH112). The site consisted of a light scatter of late-nineteenth to early-twentieth century artifacts. The site is interpreted as a dump/discard location and is not considered eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
