Abstract

The purpose of the informal test, reported in this QSTR, was to analyze moral Defense System's interpretation and use of the CALS standards in transferring technical engineering data. Loral used its CALS Technical Data Interchange System to produce data, in accordance with the standards, and delivered it to the AFCTN technical staff using an electronic ftp transfer. The stated purpose of this test was to evaluate the data and not the CALS format.
