Technical Graphics Transfer Using: Sikorsky Aircraft's Data for the Army Blackhawk Program, MIL-D-28003 (CGM) Quick Short Test Report.

Abstract

The purpose of the informal test, reported in this QSTR, was to analyze Sikorsky Aircraft's interpretation and use of the CALS standards in transferring technical graphics data. Sikorsky used its CALS Technical Data Interchange System to produce data, in accordance with the standards, and delivered it to the AFCTN technical staff using an electronic transfer media. The stated purpose of the evaluation was to test the CGM files and not the CALS headers.
