Abstract

The purpose of the informal test reported in this QSTR was to analyze Texas Instruments' interpretation and use of the CALS standards in transferring technical publications Illustration data. Texas Instruments used its CALS Technical Data Interchange System to produce data in accordance with the standards and delivered it to the CTN technical staff on a 9-track magnetic tape.
