Technical IGES Transfer Using: NADEP Cherry Point's Data Supporting: H-46 CNCS Air Frame Change Number 443, MIL-D-28000A (IGES). Quick Short Test Report.

Abstract

The purpose of the informal test, reported in this QSTR, was to analyze NADEP Cherry Point's interpretation and use of the CALS standards in transferring technical IGES data. NADEP used its Technical Data Interchange System to produce data, in accordance with the standards, and delivered it to the AFCTN technical staff using an electronic transfer. The data is a sample from the NADEP CAD systems to determine CALS conformance. No MIL-STD-1840A data was included.
