Abstract

The purpose of the informal test, reported in this QSTR, was to analyze Mr. Jessie Bailey's, of Eastern Kentucky University, interpretation and use of the CALS standards in transferring technical publication data. Mr. Bailey used his CALS Technical Data Interchange System to produce data, in accordance with the standards, and delivered it to the AFCTN technical staff via an electronic transfer. The document set was presented as part of a Master Thesis for Mr. Bailey.
