Open Institutes and Laboratories in the Field of Physics.
Abstract
In order to fully use scientific research facilities, create conditions for high-level research work, and promote extensive exchanges of academic thought and qualified personnel, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Academia Sinica has decided to open up two research institutes and 17 laboratories. The first batch of research institutes and laboratories which have been opened to China and foreign countries primarily do basic research and basic work in applied research. Chinese and foreign scientific workers may apply to pose questions for study that are within the scope of the study question application guidebook and, following discussion and approval of funding by the academic committee, come to the laboratories to carry out scientific research.
