Task Analysis for Process Information as Accomplished by a Battalion Task Force. Critical Combat Function 3 (CCF 3).

Abstract

The purpose of CCF 3 is to convert acquired and collected information into intelligence that can be used by the TF and TF commander to influence the battle and assure mission accomplishment. The outcomes include: (1) Timely and relevant intelligence. (2) Updated and doctrinally correct TF operational and intelligence products: (a) Commanders Decision Support Template (DST). (b) TF enemy situation/event template. (c) Intelligence Summary (updated enemy situation). (d) Updated Overlays on critical C2 maps. (e) Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) and Intelligence Requirements (IR). (f) Reconnaissance and Surveillance Plan. (3) Outdated, irrelevant information culled out during the processing process.
