Abstract

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), as part of the Naval Aviation Systems Team, is the Navy's principal research, development, test, evaluation (RDT&E), engineering, and fleet support activity for Naval aircraft, engines, avionics, aircraft support systems, and ship/shore/air operations. Six geographically dispersed sites combine to form NAWCAD, with the headquarters located at Patuxent River, Maryland. The sites are: Indianapolis, Indiana; Lakehurst, New Jersey; Orlando, Florida; Patuxent River, Maryland; Trenton, New Jersey; and Warminster, Pennsylvania.
