Abstract

This Instruction: (1) Implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures under reference (a) for the integrated management of natural and cultural resources on property under DoD control. (2) Authorizes the publication of 'A Resource Manager's Guide to Volunteer and Partnership Programs' and 'A Guide to Integrated Natural Resources Management.' (3) Implements references (d) through (gg). (4) Establishes the DoD Conservation Committee that reports to the Environmental Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH) Policy Board. (5) Designates 'DoD Executive Agents' to lead DoD implementation of key conservation issues, as specified in enclosure.
