Abstract

This Instruction implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures under reference (a) for the establishment and operation of a program for regional environmental coordination within the Department of Defense. Establishes DoD environmental Executive Agents (EAs), DoD Regional Environmental Coordinators (DoD RECs), and Component RECs. Does not change DoD policies, responsibilities, and procedures concerning other regional activities under references (b) through (e).
