Ordnance Survey - 7,600-Acre Parcel, Fort George G. Meade, Ann Arundel County, Maryland.

Abstract

The United States Army Environmental Center (USAEC), formerly the U.S. Army Toxic and Hazardous Materials Agency (USATHAMA), Base Closure Division tasked OHM Remediation Services Corporation (OHM), a wholly owned subsidiary of OHM Corporation, - with performing a UXO survey of 7,600 acres at Fort George G. Meade (FGGM), Fort Meade, Maryland. The work was awarded under the Total Environmental Program Support (TEPS) Contract, No. DAAAl5-90-D-0019, as Delivery Order 003 issued in September 1991. The work was required as part of the property transfer of FGGM Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) lands to U.S. Department of Interior (DOl) (see Appendix E for Property Transfer Assembly). Due to the extension of the work and the field conditions encountered, the delivery order was modified several times. The field work began in January 1992 and concluded in September 1993.
