Abstract

This Instruction replaces DoD Instruction 4120.14; implements policy, assigns responsibility, and prescribes procedures as established under DoD Directive 4715.1 for achieving compliance with applicable Executive Orders and Federal, State, inter-state, regional, and local statutory and regulatory environmental requirements; designates 'the DoD Executive Agents' to lead DoD implementation of key environmental issues; implements policy for reporting, programing, and planning environmental compliance costs; authorizes the publication of DoD 4715.6-R, DoD 4715.6-R-1, and DoD 4715.6-M.
