Evaluation of St. Paul Island Harbor, Alaska Section 204 (e) Project.

Abstract

This report presents the results of a study to examine the process followed on the St. Paul Island Harbor, Alaska project. To date, this is the only project that has been completed using the authority of Section 204(e) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986. This study focused on what caused this particular project to require a study to determine the feasibility of modifications almost as soon as it was completed, as well as on the pros and cons of implementing the project under the authority of Section 204(e).
