Mooring Reconfiguration Testing and Deployment Support.

Abstract

Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute successfully supported the Univ. of Miami in the Mooring Reconfiguration Testing and Deployment project. Support consisted of the following: Evaluation of the reverberation system. Redesign mooring configuration. Perform engineering test at Institution facilities and at NUSC Lake Seneca test facility in New York State. Participate in test cruises on the Florida Coast. Prepare and provide deployment support for the science cruise on the Vancouver coast. Materials for modifications were purchased. Cost for travel of personnel and shipping costs of equipment were expended as outlined in the budget All tasks have been completed successfully and equipment remains with University of Miami for further experiments.
