A General Method for Determining Coincidence Corrections of Counting Instruments,

Abstract

The method herein described for determining and applying coincidence corrections in counters is an extension of the general method of paired sources. Several pairs of radioactive sources are used, and for each pair, counts are taken with the instrument on the sources separately and together.
