Performance Measurement for the National Performance Review (NPR), Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA), and Army Performance Improvement Criteria (APIC).

Abstract

This report is about measuring organizational performance. It is the only one of its kind in that it serves as one comprehensive resource reference written specifically for measuring government performance irrespective of the mission. It goes well beyond the use of numbers and indexes to quantify resource inputs, efficiency, productivity, programs, output and outcomes. While the intended user of this book is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the material can be readily adapted to any local, state or federal organization.
