Project Management Career Development and Training: Needs Assessment and Strategy Development.

Abstract

This report summarizes research on the basic needs for project management career development and training in the Corps of Engineers, and development of a general strategy for satisfying those needs. Two related objectives guided this study: to assess the career development and training needs of Corps project managers, and to develop a viable strategy for satisfying those needs. Both serve the sponsor's goal of developing a master plan for career development and training in project management.
