High-Sensitivity Wideband Analog Fiber-Optic Link Based on Integrated Optical Modulators

Abstract

This report summarizes the design and testing of a 1O-GHz analog fiber optic link. The device is based on a state of the art, commercially available LiNbO3 electrooptic integrated Mach-Zehnder modulator. The performance of the integrated link, as well as each individual component, is characterized and documented.
