Fast Acquisition of Inbound Signals under Low Signal-to-Noise Ratio Conditions in RDSS Systems,

Abstract

Starting out from the angle of the system as a whole, analysis is carried out with regard to various types of fast acquisition methods, setting up simple, clear, and accurate mathematical models. Application is made of these mathematical models to carry out computer simulation analyses of influences on fast acquisition using pseudo random code, Gaussian limit band noise, and Doppler frequency shift. A number of quantitative and qualitative conclusions are obtained. In conjunction with this, SAW matching filters are indicated as an optimal selection. Besides this, theoretical analyses are also carried out with regard to RDSS standard inbound signal pseudo code synchronous patterns. In conjunction with this, one type of possible acquisition method was conceived.
