Abstract

On behalf of the Department for Social Scientific Research of the Royal Netherlands Navy, the studies carried out by the TNO Human Factors Research Institute, the Royal Institute for the Navy (KIM), and the Departments for Behavioral Sciences of the Navy, Air Force and Army, are assessed on the criterium of practical relevance for naval operations. This report gives an overview of relevant studies, categorized as follows: (1) deployment of personnel, (2) task performance, and (3) environmental factors.
