Abstract

This document has been prepared to provide information on the United States Air Force (USAF) Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) program to Congressional committees during the hearings on the Fiscal Year 1998/1999 Budget Estimates. Volume 1 and 2 contain all unclassified R-2 and R-3 exhibits. Exhibits R-2 and R-3 provide narrative information for all RDT&E program elements and projects within the USAF FY 1998/1999 RDT&E program. The formats and contents of this document are in accordance with the guidelines and requirement of the Congressional committees insofar as possible.
