Breast Health Education Study.

Abstract

The purpose of the currently fluided project is: to seek to determine and validate the efficacy of a community-based educational program initiative in promoting breast health in minority and medically underserved women by educating and motivating them to seek mammograms and perform breast self examination on a regular basis. The study focuses on two groups to achieve its goals: (1) minority and underserved women, in the metropolitan Atlanta area, and (2) family and primary care physicians and other health care providers who care for the medically underserved
