Metamodeling Techniques and Applications. Volume 2.

Abstract

Tactical simulation models used by the Department of Defense to assess the capabilities of combat systems and tactics are highly complex. It is often difficult to determine the relationship of individual factors to the performance of the modeled process. A technique called metamodeling has the ability to address this problem. This research developed the capability to build dynamic metamodels of tactical engagement simulations.
