Life Cycle Management: Introduction to an Instrument for the Business Policies of the Netherlands Defence (Life Cycle Management, introductie van een instrument voor de bedrijfsvoering van Defensie).

Abstract

This brochure gives a brief introduction to Life Cycle Management (LCM) and a model that supports LCM. The applicability of LCM to the new business policies of the Netherlands Defence, in which the relation between performance and costs of organisations is a main subject, is discussed. The LCM model is a prototype that is developed for the Dutch Mine Counter Measures Department to analyse part of their equipment.
