Edible Land Snails in the United States,

Edible land snails brought into the United States have not been a blessing. Certain species are numerous in limited areas, and their damage to cultivated flowers and vegetables has caused people to make considerable effort to control and eradicate them. Regulations, legislation, classification, anatomy, reproduction, food, feeding and habitats are some of the topics discussed.
