A Methodology for Optimal Planning over Time. Volume II, Appendices A, B, C, D, and E in Support of Volume I.

Abstract

This report describes a methodology which can be used to identify the most cost-effective plan for the phase-in and phase-out of vehicle systems--a methodology for optimal fleet planning over time. Volume 1 provides a systematic development of the problem structure, a qualitative description of the solution procedure, and mathematical and operational descriptions of the algorithm. Volume 2 provides appendices containing a demonstration problem, subroutine descriptions, program flow charts, program listings, and error message descriptions.
