LDAP: A Data Acquisition Program Written Using LabVIEW.

Abstract

This report describes how to use LDAP (LabVlEW Data Acquisition Program), a data acquisition system written to take single shot pulse power/radio frequency data. The report describes how LDAP expects inputs, how LDAP communicates with scopes, how LDAP arrives at the data it plots, and LDAP's ability to call and communicate with other applications. LDAP gives one the ability to: setup digitizing scopes (analyzers); input and save information about different probes (such as Rogowski coils, B-DOts, magnetic field conversions, etc.), cable calibrations, crystal diode calibrations; give titles to individual channels; save comments; acquire and display data; setup and control DGS35s, HP16531, HP16532 digitizing cards (in an HP16500), HP54IIID digitizing scopes, TEK TDS2I0, TEK TDS420, TEK TDSS44A, TEK DSA602(A), and TEK TDS744A digitizing scopes.
