Marine Corps Applied Research Program: Fiscal Year 1997 Technology Program Plan, PE 62131 M.

Abstract

The Marine Corps, in Title 10, United States Code (USC), is tasked to develop, in conjunction with the Navy, Army, and Air Force, those phases of amphibious operations that pertain to tactics, techniques, and equipment used by the landing force. This Technology Program Plan (TPP) covers a broad range of technology thrusts that will lead to new or improved capabilities in a variety of functional areas that support the landing force. The specific technology efforts respond to the needs determined by the first Marine Corps Science and Technology Expeditionary Warfare Roundtable 1, the Commandant's Planning Guidance (CPG), dated 1 July 1995, approved Non-Acquisition Category Program Definition Documents (NAPDDs), and emerging concepts and doctrine.
