Abstract

The report evaluates the current and future financial conditions of ma defense contractors and evaluates the ability of these corporations to withstand the downturn in defense spending. The study was divided into two parts: (1) assessing the likely financial impacts to the top 25 DoD contractors resulting from reduced DoD spending and evaluating these firms' opportunities for and ability to finance diversification; and (2) sizing non-traditional markets that may offset some or all of the decline in DoD spending.
