DoD Work Measurement/Labor Standards Redesign and System Architecture. Phase II.

Abstract

The redesigned Defense Performance Management and Defense Performance Engineering Support not only provide the basis for a new management style and a new business service, they also provide the basis for new DoD policy and guidance for enhancing performance and providing work standards. They also will be integrated into a new DoD Defense Performance Engineering Program to promote more effective management and management support from process improvement and work standard resources. This document is the final report of the Defense Productivity Process Improvement (DPPI) Project, Phase II which addresses the improvement of work measurement and the use of labor standards.
