Assessment of Fungal Pathogens as Biocontrol Agents of Myriophyllum Spicatum,

Abstract

Nine fungal isolates, which had shown potential to control sections of Myriophyllum spicatum, were screened against whole actively growing plants. None of the isolates produced any control capabilities. Though there could be a use for the pathogens in conjunction with other methods of control, there use alone is unlikely to be sufficient
