Annotated Bibliography on Psychological Operations.

Abstract

Based exclusively on open source material, including a number of Russian, German, and Bulgarian primary sources, this bibliography provides up to date (post 1980) monographic and journal material on the theory and practice of psychological operations, as demonstrated in history and currently in the military doctrine of the Soviet Union and the United States. A separate section lists about 100 older sources considered important basic reading and gives reference material on the subject. The listings are broken down into two subheadings: General Treatments, and Theoretical Psyop. The 325 entries are given alphabetically by author (in a separate master listing of monographs and journal articles) and alphabetically within each subject.
