Acquisition Management System and Data Requirements Control List (AMSDL).

Abstract

The AMSDL lists the data requirements (source documents and DIDs) that have been approved for use in Defense contracts. These documents should be not be used in DoD contracts unless Government Program/Project Managers, Acquisition Managers or Contracting Officers believe such data is essential to accomplishing the mission of the Department of Defense. The restrictions of public laws regarding information collection by the Federal Government applies to data acquired under DoD contracts. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Control Number 0704-0188 has been assigned to all data requirements and source documents listed herein. The AMSDL only lists data requirements cleared under the control number 0704-0188. It does not include other data requirements that may be required under other Public Laws, Federal Statutes, Executive Orders, etc., specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) or Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) clauses or covered by other 0MB control numbers.
