Repetitive Molecular Exclusion Chromatography of PGBx on Sephadex LH-20.
Abstract
PGB sub x a mixture of oligomers of 15-keto PGB1, was subjected to repetitive MEC on Sephadex LH-20 in an attempt to separate and purify the active principle. The resulting fractions were analyzed and found still to be heterogeneous. Although the MEC technique did not resolve the PGB sub x complex, low molecular weight fractions were obtained that may be amenable to mass spectral analysis.
