Abstract

The purpose of this report is to provide a systematic approach to planning, implementing, and interpreting monitoring programs for restoration projects. The objective of the report is to show how a monitoring program proceeds from identification of restoration project goals, through selecting monitoring methods, and finally to interpretation and dissemination of results. This report is a guide to fundamental elements of a monitoring program for aquatic restoration.
