Abstract

The NIST EXPRESS Toolkit is a software library for building EXPRESS-related tools. The NIST Part 21 Exchange File Toolkit is a software library for building Part-21 related tools. This paper describes how to use applications built with the toolkits. This includes typical applications such as 'fedex' and 'p21', which are stand-alone programs that read and report errors in EXPRESS schemas and Part 21 exchange files. Readers of this document need no knowledge of the internals of the toolkits.
