Abstract

This Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) describes the anticipated impacts of relocating the U.S. Army Chemical School and U.S. Army Military Police School to Fort Leonard Wood. It identifies and describes the proposed actions, alternatives to these actions, and related environmental effects as required by the President's Council on Environmental Quality regulations, the National Environmental Policy Act and Army Regulation 200-2. The main body of the EIS consists of Volumes I and II. In addition, Volumes III and IV have been prepared as supporting documents, with limited distribution. All four volumes of the EIS are available for review at listed information repositories or upon request. A complete Table of Contents for each volume has been included in Volume I.
