Abstract

To question whether the acute administration of intravenous DHEA or DREAS prevents reduction in host resistance that develops in mice following an experimental hemorrhagic shock. To determine whether the acute administration 9f intravenous DHEA prevents the development of bacterial translocation after hemorrhagic shock in mice.
