Criterion Development for 18 Technical Training Schools in the Navy, Army, and Air Force.

Abstract

The Navy Personnel Research and Development Center (NPRDC) and its contractor have collected data to evaluate the predictive validity of a joint-service battery of experimental computerized aptitude tests, referred to as Enhanced Computer Administered Tests (ECAT). To evaluate the validity of a test, the contractor has collected two types of data: (1) test scores on the predictor tests, and (2) data on the criterion measures of training school performance data.
