Urbanization in the Third World: Implications for ARSOF in the 21st Century.

Abstract

The premise of this thesis is that urban warfare, or military operations on urban terrain (MOUT), should gain an increasing amount of attention among military commanders and policy makers as we enter in the 21st Century. This thesis will address urban operations that fall within the realm of conflict and the doctrine and training that prepares ARSOF to operate in this environment.
