F-16 Avionics Systems (AFSC 2A3X2).

Abstract

The F-16 Avionic Systems career ladder was surveyed to provide current job and task data for use in updating career ladder documents and training programs. Survey results are based on responses from 1,366 Active Duty (AD), Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve (AFRES) respondents, accounting for 57 percent of the total population surveyed. The current career ladder structure reflects an overall normal job progression. Fifteen specific jobs were identified in the career ladder. Overall, job satisfaction is very good among career ladder incumbents. Reenlistment intentions for first enlistment airmen is very low, even though they find their job interesting and perceive their talents and training as well utilized.
