Energetic Materials - Technology, Manufacturing and Processing, 27th International Annual Conference of ICT June 25 - June 28, 1996 Karisruhe, Federal Republic of Germany.

Abstract

Since our last event on this theme in 1987 new topics have received special interest in the field of technology, manufacturing and processing of energetic materials. The development of new ingredients and the tailoring of explosive systems in view of LOVA requirements lead to changes in manufacturing and processing technology. Another increasing requirement to modern explosive technology is to guarantee environmental compatibility during the whole life cycle of the energetic materials. The 27th International ICT Annual Conference centers at the discussion of the art in research and development of modern rocket propellants, explosives, gun propellants and pyrotechnics emphasizing technology, manufacturing and processing. Main topics are: (1) Components; (2) Manufacturing and Processing Techniques; (3) Safety Technology; (4) Analysis and Characterization of Energetic Materials; and (5) Environmental Aspects.
