US Navy Wear Test and User Evaluation of Commercial Safety Shoes.

Abstract

Results from a Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility (NCTRF) survey of wearer's of the standard issue Chukka Shoe indicated that both men and women have problems with fit and serviceability. As a result, a market survey was undertaken and two commercial safety shoes were identified as being acceptable replacements. Each of these shoes came in two styles, one for men and one for women. A user/wear test was conducted.
