Chemical-Material Data Bases: Chemical Defense Material Data Base.

Abstract

An overview of the Chemical Defense Material Data Base (CDMD) is provided and includes a survey of the data base's current capabilities and contents. Emphasis is placed on comparing the current CDMD with previously released ones and on the anticipated capabilities of future releases. The CDMD's background and evolution are surveyed, and current system configurations are listed. The data base's contents are documented by record count functions applied to the occurrence frequency of materials, chemicals, and test properties. The plans for future system enhancements are described. Finally, a typical search example is followed via computer monitor screen views.
