Wind Tunnel Wall Effects on the Flow around a 76/40-deg Double-Delta Wing.

Abstract

This report results from a contract tasking Delf University of Technology as follows: The contractor will perform a service consisting of experimental investigations of the effect of small geometry modifications at the strake/wing junction of a cropped double delta wing. The investigations will include the effect of its on surface pressure, forces, and moments for an existing double delta wing wind tunnel model at NAWC. Testing will take place in the NAWC low-speed wind tunnel facility and the experimental data will be compared with existing data NASA Langley and compared with new CFD predictions described in his proposal.
