Development of a No-Scalpel Vasectomy Residency Training Program in a Community Family Practice Clinic.

Abstract

Several excellent review articles have been published recently which discuss the advantages of no scalpel vasectomy and describe the procedural technique. Lacking from these reviews are details regarding how to enlist patients for a training program and some caveats which will facilitate learning experiences. This article addresses these issues. The Family Medicine Center vasectomy training program provides affordable vasectomies to low income patients.
