Mine Warfare Component Coordination in Support of Operational Maneuver from the Sea.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the need for centralized control of all mine warfare functions at the operational level. 'Mine Warfare has become one the essential keys to unlocking the littoral battlespace. As such, we intend on putting in the hand of the Sailors and Marines who sail in support of our nation's bidding, the capabilities to defeat the mine threat, accomplish the mission, and return home safely.'
